I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Memphis and a Masters of Arts in Education from UT Martin. I am also a recipient of the Tennessee Academy of Science Outstanding Teacher Award. For the past two years, I have served as a Common Core State Standards Coach for the State of Tennessee for Science. I feel so fortunate to work with young students and enjoy helping them discover the world of science and science related careers. I spend most of my free time with my family, especially my three sons, ages 12, 7, and 4. I look forward to an amazing year with the STEAM Academy!
